What You Need (May contain affiliate links)
- Colorful Paper
- Laminating Sheets
- Magnets
- Your Imagination
Note that although we created our design on our Cricut, you can also print and cut out your design by hand before laminating.
Now it’s time to get creative. There are a plethora of images and fonts in the Cricut Design Space to choose from, but you can also create your own. We made a previous video/blog on how to create your own .svg files. Click HERE.

Pick your color(s) and cut out your design using your Cricut. Weed and remove your art. Set aside for now.
Next you will need to layout your contact paper. We found the project to be easier by placing it on a Cricut Self Healing Mat that had measurements and straight edges. Pick up your letters or graphics using tweezers and carefully placing them onto the laminating sheet. Be sure to place on the non sticky page so you can rearrange if needed.
Once you are happy with the layout place the sticky side of the laminating sheet on top pressing firmly.

Now all you need is tape or magnets to hold up your beautiful art and display it for everyone to see.
