I am always looking for interesting ways to light up a room. When I saw this metal art sphere at Hobby Lobby, I knew it would make a cool lamp. It was very easy and only took about 10 minutes including the time to hang it.

First, I centered my light cord so that the bulb hung below an intersection of the metal strips of the sphere.
I then secured the cord with the wire. Do not wrap too tight or you may damage the protective coating on the light cord.
I added the light bulb and hung it from the ceiling. I specifically used a vintage bulb because: 1. it looks cool and 2. a regular bulb didn’t fit through the spaces in the sphere.
